Hey Y'all, My Name is Shawn. This is my testimony.
Husband, Father, ReignMaker, Pastor, Author, MTBS, Disciple
I grew up in the church but found passion in 9th Grade. I have loved the Scripture ever since reading it cover to cover that summer; consuming as much as I can each year since. Service has always been important to me, yet recently, God has stirred me to teach and disciple men as well.
In 2018, He asked me to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. In January 2020, He asked me to start ReignMakers. In October of 2022, He asked me to be Rector for Alamo City Tres Dias #11. And in April 2023, He asked me to write 'Crushing the Serpent." I have learned through obedience this truth. "to those who are obedient with a little, more shall be given." My testimony is simple. Pursue God and say yes!
Perspectives

“ReignMakers has offered me a new dynamic in my Christian walk. It has given me the opportunity to explore different concepts and new practices to explore my faith in Jesus through fellowship, Bible study, and adventure. It is a fun and exciting way to explore God's promises with fellow Christians”

"everyone should have a copy of "Crushing the Serpent." The writer translated "The beginning" concept into a gripping, easy-to-digest narrative. He does a great job in his analogy of the serpent. You can apply the analogy of the serpent throughout your daily Christian walk."

"Part of the joy in "walking with Christ" is seeing how God uses people to accomplish His plan. 'Crushing the Serpent' by Shawn Arstein is a frank and provocative look at how man has dishonored God, allowed the "venom" of the serpent to infect our lives and why becoming a disciple of Jesus is so important. In the book, Shawn tackles difficult questions and provides a cohesive process for becoming a mature disciple of Christ. I found the book to be challenging and encouraging and a guide to strengthen my walk."
